FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Welcome to the 2019-20 School Year!
Please view Mrs. Lafferty's letter to all school families here.
NEW The Scrip Office has been relocated to the parish office.
If you wish to purchase Scrip in person, please go to Door A
at the parish office and you will be buzzed into the office. This relocation was undertaken to improve school safety
by eliminating visitors in the school building. The Scrip hours remain the same. You may also send your order to school with your child and it will be sent home that day.
I would like to ask you to please fulfill your financial obligations to the school in a timely manner
. In order to make Catholic education as affordable as possible, we do not utilize a tuition service which would add to the cost for parents. To continue this practice and maintain a firm financial position it is important that you adhere to the payment schedule you selected. Emergencies arise and if you can’t meet your payment schedule, please contact Mrs. Schelley Snyder in the business office
to make alternative arrangements. Thank you for your cooperation.
FROM THE SCHOOL OFFICE
The August Family Envelopes will be available this weekend, August 24-25, after all masses.
The envelopes will be in the Church Narthex labeled by family name. The envelope will contain pertinent information and forms to be completed for the first day of school, as well as information to log onto Option C, our new parent communication system.
This is where you'll find the much anticipated teacher assignments!
Please make every attempt to pick up your family's envelope and complete these forms so you can send them with your child on their first day of school.
In your August Envelope
, you will receive a username and password, along with directions on how to login to Option C
, our new Learning Management System. Once you successfully login, you will land on your student's dashboard. Please click on the tab titled "Student
", then click on "Classes
" in the drop down menu. Your student's homeroom assignment
will then be visible.
NEW Important Reminders for the First Day of School!
Update Attention parents of students who reside in North Penn School District
- Please be sure to complete and return ALL forms you received in your August Family Envelope. It is extremely important that we have the completed forms on the 1st day of school.
- The first day of school can be a very exciting time, as well as a very anxious time for some of our students. In the best interest of all our students, we ask that you please say your goodbyes at the door. Your child will be escorted by school staff or older students, to their classroom, if need be. There may be some tears, but we promise to take good care of your children.
- North Penn Food Services will NOT be providing hot lunch during our first week of school. All students must pack a lunch on August 27th, 28th, and 29th. Hot lunches will begin on September 3rd.
- Now is a good time to add funds to your child's lunch account. Please visit the School Cafe website. If you do not know your child's unique ID code, please contact Mrs. Herron.
and receive transportation: North Penn has experienced a delay in communicating transportation details to our families. The information should be available in your Parent Portal within the next few days. In the meantime, you may contact their transportation department directly, at 215-853-1139, for your family's information.
Update Attention parents of students who reside in Methacton School District
and require transportation: All families should have received an email from Mrs. Mastrogiovanni with your transportation details. Please check your email and your spam folder. If you did not receive it, please contact Mrs. Mastrogiovanni in the school office.

Important Lunch Reminders: North Penn School District will again provide lunch service for our students. The price of lunch will be $3.50 and we will continue with the point of sale program implemented last year. You may set up an account for your child in School Café with North Penn or you may send your child with cash. Each child will be assigned a unique six digit number to be used each time they purchase lunch.
According to the newly enacted Act 55, if a child tells North Penn they need lunch, they must be served. You will be charged for this meal. North Penn will notify you regularly if your child has a negative lunch balance. Please rectify this negative balance as soon as possible. Any outstanding negative balances become the responsibility of the school. We will follow the usual policy for unpaid balances in June. Students with an outstanding balance will not receive their report card.
