We're excited to share the news with you that UCL Advances, i-sense and the Royal Society will be launching the Rosalind Franklin Appathon next week- a national app competition to empower and recognise women as leaders in STEMM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths and Medicine).
In advance of the launch, they will be holding a networking reception following the UCL/Rosetrees Interdisciplinary Symposium on Thursday 22nd October, from 16.20 in the Wilkins Main Quad - North Side, Gower Street, London, WC1E 6BT.
If you have a great idea for an app to empower women in STEMM, or would like to nominate a woman who has developed apps for research or societal good, please do come along to find out more about the competition and meet the team. There will also be expert app mentors on hand to answer your questions, and discuss any initial ideas over drinks and canapés.
This will be an open event so feel free to just turn up. We hope to see you there!
