Hi all,
I'd like to bring you up-to-date on a few happenings since my last newsletter way back in September of 2019.

Upcoming Exhibition

My photograph "Found Object (Wet Cardboard)" will be shown at Praxis Photo Arts Center in Minneapolis, MN in their exhibition " The Abstract Image" running Feb 20 through Mar 6. The juror is Aline Smithson.

Current Exhibitions

My image "PosNeg #53" (above) is included in Filter Photo's 4th annual members' exhibition juried by Jonathan Blaustein. The show is viewable online here.

A couple years ago I was invited to join Perspective Group and Gallery, a not-for-profit cooperative photography gallery in Evanston, IL. Last year they celebrated their 10th anniversary. The current 10-Year Anniversary Exhibition includes work by 31 current and former gallery members. The above image of mine, "Noir #11," is in the show, which can be viewed here. A beautiful hardcover book was made of the exhibition and can be purchased online from Blurb here.

Instagram (@larrychaitphotoart)
I recently celebrated my 2nd anniversary on Instagram and today marks my 742nd consecutive day of posting. If you aren't already a follower of mine, consider becoming one. My feed is an unusual mix of my own favorite photographs, works of public art that I come across, works of art from our personal collection, and photographs by famous photographers from throughout the history of the medium, which I post on their birthdays. I also regularly post data highlighting our broken political/ecomomic system. And virtually no selfies or food pixs!

Random Photos
This past year was the least productive in memory for me in terms of taking photographs, mostly because I rarely left the house due to the pandemic. Most of the photos I did take were while we were in Mexico from January to March. You can view these 2020 photos on the Random Photos page of my website. Normally, there would be 100; this year, only 50.
