Hi all,
Yes, I realize that it has been two full years since my last e-newsletter. I don't know where the time went! I hope none of you has forgotten about me or has felt neglected. At any rate, I wanted to bring you up to date on my photo-based activities.

I have added two new portfolios to my Work in Series page: Aerial Abstractions (see image above) and PosNeg. The former are large-scale black-and-white images with an Asian feel; the latter an experiment in combining positive and negative images.
In addition, I replaced all 12 images from my long-running Motion and Memory series with new ones taken last year during a road trip from Chicago to Denver and back. You can view them here.
|
|
I also replaced all 100 images on my Random Photos page with new ones taken during 2016. Many of them were captured during the above-noted road trip. Some were taken at the Denver Botanic Gardens and others in the Denver Art Museum.

The above image, "Solitude," was shown on Duncan Miller Gallery's Your Daily Photograph series earlier this month. It was the eighth photo of mine that they have published online. If you enjoy photography, you should subscribe to the series; each day you receive an email with a few photographs offered for sale at discounted prices. Usually, there is one vintage photo, one contemporary photo and one photo chosen by a guest curator. You can subscribe for free here. The email with my photo can be viewed here.
Because of my track record with Your Daily Photograph Duncan Miller Gallery (Santa Monica, CA) has invited me to join CollectorWorks, their newly created hybrid online/physical space project involving about 30 artists selected by the gallery's collector base. Look for me on the site in the coming weeks.
