Latrobe City was the host of this year's Vicsport CEO Forum (formerly Retreat). Thirty-one leaders from State Sporting Associations (SSAs) and Regional Sport Assemblies (RSAs) descended upon Traralgon for the event, now in its third year. The Forum's theme for 2016 was 'Leading as the face of your organisation'.

Play Sport Australia have released a series of videos with two of Australia’s leading sporting captains, netball’s Laura Geitz and rugby union’s Stephen Moore, who urge teenagers to keep playing sport rather than dropout.
The UK Government, through SportEngland released their new Sports Strategy “Towards an Active Nation” on 18th May and their Chief Executive Jennie Price will speak about this at the National Sports Convention in Sydney (23rd and 24th June).

Open House Co-Working Space #3
The third edition of the Vicsport Open House provided another opportunity for anyone working in the sport and active recreation industry to spend the day together, sharing ideas and meeting new people in a relaxed cohesive environment.
Other sessions included a lightning talk by Virginia Affleck from 'The Huddle', and an interactive session of 'Move My Way' from Gymnastics Victoria's, Alison Lyons.
