But now that the Farmers' Markets are over, how can you maintain your supply of meat (and eggs) that checks all the boxes?  Not to worry, we'll be delivering to a parking lot near you 1x month throughout the winter (except maybe January when we are expecting our second baby!).  Stay tuned to the newsletter and we'll let you know when we are coming and remind you to make an order.

Bacon is out, Ham is in!
Well, that was quick...  In one-and-a-half market weekends we sold out of 30 pigs worth of bacon!  You guys are out of control!  Have you tried breakfast sausages?!  Just kidding -- I know there is no substitute for bacon.  However, I have a new, smokey, savoury pork delight for you to try - Spray Creek Ham!  These little roasts are 1-3 pounds each and boneless, so they are super easy to slice for whatever culinary idea you have in mind.   They are brined, cooked in the smoker and ready to eat - perfect in grilled sandwiches for lunch, sliced and fried with eggs for breakfast, or heated and served with potatoes and cabbage for dinner.  

Speaking of sold out, the unthinkable has happened and we are also sold out of ground beef.  Our next batch of beef is already dry-aging at the abattoir, but we just couldn't get it ready in time for this market.  To make up for it we are selling our ground veal at a deep discount (same price as our ground beef).  If you are curious about how we raise our veal, you can read more about it here, and if you are wondering what the difference in flavour is compared to our regular ground beef, I would say that it is milder and sweeter.  Pepperoni inventory is also low, so if you rely on our peps to get you through those hangry moments or get some grassfed beef into your kiddos, it's wise to make a pre-order.

It's Almost Turkey Time!
Our incredible turkey, along with our tips for brining, cooking and serving, will make for a meal your family and guests won't forget.  Celebrate the joy of a bountiful season and the push for a regenerative future as you gather around a centerpiece that exemplifies that story.

Already ordered your turkey? Great! You'll receive a final invoice for your bird on Thursday.  Still need to order?  Simply log in to our online shop and add a turkey to your shopping cart.  We still have medium, large and jumbo birds left.  Your bird will be delivered FRESH to the market of your choosing this weekend.
