The online shop is looking a little different these days... Not only did Local Line, our online retailer, change the look of the storefront  (let us know what you think!), but we are out of some of the staples you've come to expect from us.  Conventional barn or feed-lot-based farms are able to produce a steady year-round supply of pork, beef, poultry and eggs, but as a pasture-based farm our production fluctuates with the seasons.  We tend to have the lowest inventory in the spring, as we sell out of the meat we raised the past summer and fall, but have yet to produce more animals on this year's pastures. 

More beef, chicken, and turkey will arrive in the online shop by the end of May, but in the meantime, feast on pork (like the gorgeous ham Farmer Mo is serving in the picture above, or our newest product - pork liverwurst), and enjoy the taste of eating with the seasons!
Thai-Style Ground Veal Stir Fry
With ground beef out of stock, and ground veal on sale (15% off!) I thought I'd post this delicious ground veal recipe again.  
When is ground veal preferred over ground beef?  In recipes like this!  This stir fry is inspired by Thai flavours, which pair perfectly with the sweet, mild flavour of ground veal. Sometimes I find the strong, meaty flavour of our ground beef can over-power the delicate balance of the sweet, salty and sour flavours that make this style of cooking so special, but our veal is just perfect.  So give our ground veal a try in this easy-peasy, perfect-for-springtime, veal of a meal!
