First of all...always work safely!
In light of recent events around the Covid-19 pandemic, we wanted to create a means for us to get information directly to our District credential holders. We know this is a time of uncertainty and unknowns for our leaders. This e-bulletin is our way of getting information relative to the Covid-19 crisis to you. Over the past several weeks, it’s clear these are new and uncharted waters, and we want to inform, encourage, and equip you as you lead in your churches and communities. Feel free to send us practical information or resources that you feel would benefit other pastors

We're glad many of you have connected with us by phone, email and text, and on our Zoom calls. Our commitment as a District team is to serve you and your churches. If you need to reach us at any time, our contact information is below:

Find a Church Online
With the recent increase in online services and the inability we have to meet in person, we have compiled a list of our District churches online platforms (one link per church). You can find that list here. If your church's link is incorrect or missing, please contact Rebecca ( so the list can be updated.

Government of Canada - Introduces Canada Emergency Response Benefit to help workers and businesses.
"To support workers and help businesses keep their employees, the government has proposed legislation to establish the Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB). This taxable benefit would provide $2,000 a month for up to four months for workers who lose their income as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The CERB would be a simpler and more accessible combination of the previously announced Emergency Care Benefit and Emergency Support Benefit.
…Additionally, workers who are still employed, but are not receiving income because of disruptions to their work situation due to COVID-19, would also qualify for the CERB. This would help businesses keep their employees as they navigate these difficult times, while ensuring they preserve the ability to quickly resume operations as soon as it becomes possible."

Visit the Government of Canada's website for complete details.

In the next E-Bulletin
Several pastors have reached out to us about administrative best practices in light of the recent happenings. We've been building some helpful administrative resources and will have those out to you tomorrow.
