Hi Passionate Inkers,

I'm pleased to take a moment to introduce myself. I'm the new VP of Comms and excited to be a part of the Passionate Ink team. This year, we'll add some new ways to help celebrate your new releases and some sections to the newsletter that we hope will provide additional useful benefits to all of you.

We would also like to encourage you to share your knowledge and expertise in the newsletter by contributing short articles. If you have attended any conferences, please consider sharing highlights so we can all learn more about them. Also, if you've taken any workshops and can share useful tips, we'd love that. So please don't hesitate to reach out to me with your ideas for brief articles!

With kind regards,

Kate Allure
VP, Comms, PIWAR

2019 Member Registration & Renewals Update!

Thank you all for your patience as we've been working with RWA to move dues processing to their new web portal. Unfortunately, they have run into technical difficulties, so we have requested a waiver to process our own dues for 2019 through Jan 2020. The Board is currently deliberating on options for how to handle dues and renewals for Jan 1 2018 - Jan 1, 2020; please keep an eye on your email inbox and our private Facebook group for an official update on how this will be handled in the coming weeks. In the meantime, any member who signed up from Jan 1 - December 31, 2018, your membership will be left active and you need not take any action until further notice.

Thank you for your patience and understanding!

Finding Yesterday

By Alexis R. Craig
Release Date: January 1, 2019

Lucas Jameson has given up on women. In his opinion, they're only good for one thing, and one thing only. That's one of the reasons he became a park ranger. The other reason was to get away from the big city and his ex-girlfriend. He's not the type to take orders from anyone, especially a woman. Living in a cabin in the woods, alone, was  more his style. That is until he happens upon a woman, lost and afraid, and with no idea  who, or where she is. Lucas has no idea how to handle this fragile wisp of a woman and has no intention of trying to. But, there's something about her that reminds him of someone he lost years ago.

Can Lucas keep the walls he built around is heart intact or  will a stranger that reminds him of yesterday help him to lower his guard and try one  more time at love?

Jenny's Voice

By Pandora Spocks
Release Date: February 12, 2019

A traumatized young woman held hostage for years.

The rancher who comes to her rescue.

The crime boss who will kill them both if he finds them.

Jenny Stone’s voice was silenced the day ruthless crime boss Victor Sorkin executed her parents and took her as his personal good luck charm.  Now she’s his ‘pet’, at his mercy when he summons her to warm his bed. Or the beds of his more esteemed business associates.

When she sees her chance to escape, she takes it, hitching a ride with an unsuspecting cowboy, horse trainer Cole Caldwell.  Cole’s stunned to find the terrified young redhead hiding in his horse trailer. She’s as skittish as some of the horses he works with, and she doesn’t even speak.  He’ll do his best to ignore the attraction he feels, content to help her know she’s safe with him.

When Jenny first escaped, her only thought was to get away.  But now she’s worried. She’s put Cole in unspeakable danger.  Should she leave before Victor finds them? Could it already be too late?
