Hi Passionate Inkers,

I hope you are staying safe and well during this uncertain time, and finding a way to escape with sexy writing or reading. It's been a challenge for me, but I've found often constraints can bring out the creativity.

I wanted to take a moment to thank you for being a part of our community and for trusting me as your president the last 15 months. When the results of the special election for RWA's board were announced, I had to step down from Passionate Ink's board to take my seat on the national one.

A special election is being held to fill this vacancy and in the meantime the role has been filled by our vice president, Rusty Hough Bader. The poll will close at 11:59 p.m. Pacific on Sunday, May 3 and the new Board will be announced May 4, 2020. We need to fill these seats to continue operating, so don't forget to vote!

If you have any problems or questions concerning the voting process, please email directors@passionateink.org.

Nikki Sloane
RWA Director-at-Large
Former Passionate Ink President

The Redemption book coverOnce, the name Macalister Hale was uttered in the boardroom with respect. Now, it’s whispered in disgrace at cocktail parties hosted by Boston’s elite.

Scandal nearly destroyed me, but the one thing larger than my infamy is my bank account, and I’ve learned money can solve anything.

Well—almost anything.

Sophia Alby’s preferred currency is secrets and the way she trades information puts Wall Street to shame.

This girl charges into my life and claims a partnership can restore my reputation. My downfall was swift, but with her, my climb to redemption will be greater.

Miss Typed

Release Date: April 3, 2020

The Redemption book coverAiden Samuels is the most mysterious and sexy man I’ve ever met – and he’s my new boss.

He’s given me a second chance and now it’s up to me not to blow it. No matter how much I may want to trust him with my secrets, I can’t afford to let him in.

He can’t discover the truth.
No matter what the cost.

Chloe Mattson is the most disarming and intriguing woman I’ve ever met – and she’s my new assistant.

She’s brought light into my dark life, but she’s much too innocent for me. I need discipline and control to keep her at arms-length, but I can’t resist helping her, even when she insists she doesn’t need it. No matter how much I desire her, Chloe is off-limits.

Growing closer may prove complicated.
Staying away may prove impossible.

Sin, Salvation, and Serenity

By Barbra Campbell
Release Date: April 11, 2020

Unholy thoughts aren't something a person can simply banish. At least I can't.

--Eli--
Struggling to raise my son after a few poor choices and a nasty divorce, I'd broken down and accepted my parents' help. They had one condition- I attend church weekly.
Simple enough.
Except no one warned me about the college-aged soprano with the voice of an angel and the body only a devil would create.

Her name was Serenity and she left me feeling anything but calm.

--Serenity--
My list of sins paled in comparison to most, but the way I'd caught Eli looking at me on more than one occasion had me wondering exactly what would happen if I added to my short list.
I needed to remember he was several years older, had a kid, and based on his reputation wouldn't want anything to do with an innocent young woman like me. If only he'd stop showing up at church every Sunday feeding my fantasies.
