Dublin-based record label Mountain Series sets sails with “Muzea EP” signed by Moldavian DJ and producer Holchin alongside Vadim Oslov on remix duties. Cristina and I met with a team from DW to talk about the Un-hidden street art in Romania book and graffiti in Bucharest.
"During the communist dictatorship, graffiti was banned in countries of the former Eastern Bloc, including Romania. This art was considered vandalism there. Above all, the regime was afraid of the content of the lettering. After the fall of the Wall, street art boomed. The Romanian capital Bucharest has become much more colourful as a result - even tourist graffiti tours are offered." - DW. Watch the video
