On July 11, Apple computers and accessories from the University of Minnesota Bookstores became available for purchase on U Market. Departments receive the best university price on Apple products including the academic discount and an additional, exclusive 2% discount off Apple computers (standard & custom configurations), only offered by Bookstores.

FY16 Summary
Fiscal Year 2016 (FY16) was another fantastic year of growth in service to customers for U Market! Overall sales on U Market totaled $47 million which is a 23% increase from FY15. Chrom Tech, Home Depot, eppendorf and STEMCELL Technologies were the new suppliers added to U Market, increasing product options available to customers. Chrom Tech is a local and targeted supplier and is certified by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).
The U Market team will continue to work on improving the experience and looks forward to serving you in the coming year!
