The Apple of our Eye—Efficiency
Order Bookstores’ Apple products on U Market? Now your delivery will come straight from U Market Services.
Beginning January 17, U Market Services will provide next day delivery to Bookstores customers. Once your order is received and processed, it will be delivered the following business day.
As always, a signature will be required at delivery and no package will be left unattended. Custom configurations will still be processed with a 7-10 day lead time. For customers not located on the Twin Cities campus, the Bookstores will continue to ship your orders via UPS.
Integrating our delivery systems means there is fewer delivery disruptions for you—the customer—and fewer trucks on campus. Fewer trucks on campus create a less congested University. A less congested University means a safer, quieter place for you to work and enjoy.
Targeted Supplier Search
U Market supports the University's mission to "use its purchasing power to enhance employment and business opportunities with targeted businesses." A targeted business is a business owned and operated by people of color, women and persons with a disability.
You can easily identify and search by Targeted Supplier using either a simple or advanced search.
Leah Isbell is the Administrative Coordinator and Customer Support Manager for U Market Services. Leah coordinates programs for the department and helps plan the annual Supplier Showcase.
In addition, Leah meets with vendors to improve the customer experience and helps with the onboarding process when new suppliers are added to U Market.
