The Office of Information Technology (OIT) provides desktop support to several colleges and departments at the University. Part of Greg Borchardt’s job is to ensure that new computers and components for these supported areas are delivered quickly and efficiently after being prepped at OIT. In the past, it was a headache. But Greg had an idea and is now working with U Market Services to make the process easier. Read how.

First Supply, Goodin Company, and Viking Electric Supply will be removed from U Market on April 1. Historically low U Market sales necessitate this action to make room for other new suppliers.
These companies are still contract suppliers with the University of Minnesota. You may purchase from them through AP or pcard.

Q:How can I add a student worker to U Market?
A:If you have a student working in your department and you'd like that student to have access to create carts in U Market, simply call U Market Services Customer Support at 612-624-4878 or email ums@umn.edu and we will add them to the system. It's as easy as that!
