Admission Assessment

Admission Assessments will be held on February 26 & 27

The Admission Assessment is a mandatory part of the application process for the OIEPB comprehensive program.  If you would like to join the OIEPB program you must first attend one of our assessment dates.

Please note that these dates are the only opportunity to be assessed for the program, if you are considering applying for the program make sure you are available during this time period.

The Admission Assessment is a competency-based assessment designed to assess your current physical therapy knowledge, clinical reasoning, physical therapy practice skills and practice readiness.

The Admission Assessment is a full day that consists of 4 parts:
  • Practical Assessment (OSCE)
  • Multiple Choice Question exam (MCQ)
  • Mini Multiple Interviews (MMI)
  • Written Assessment
Program staff will use the Admission Assessment results to determine if your learning needs can be addressed through the Comprehensive Bridging Program.

Language Requirement

IMPORTANT: Please read this carefully

The language requirement is a mandatory component of the application process.  You must submit either an IELTS Academic or TOEFL test score that meets our minimum requirements in order to gain entry to the program. These are the only two acceptable language tests. Please visit our website to see minimum language requirements

If you do not already have the language requirement you must be registered for the test date BEFORE February 26, 2016. If you need to register for a IELTS or TOEFL please do so as soon as possible as the testing centers usually book about 6 weeks in advance.

You will be exempt from the language requirement only if you were educated in a predominantly English speaking country (i.e. UK, USA, New Zeland, etc).
We will consider expired IELTS (AC) or TOEFL test scores to meet the language requirement.
