                               Prayer Letter & Life story

Our friend shared with us a quote by Oswald Chambers. He said that when a person is truly born again they are condemned to a life of holiness. That is so true. "Be holy, for I am holy."
What grieves God? Our hearts that aren't even willing to live a holy life. The holy Spirit is grieved when we do not even strive to do it. David wasn't perfect. David was a man after God's own heart. Because of his heart and the attitude.
It really encouraged us to have this constant inevitable desire to live a life pleasing to God. It starts deep in heart. This is our prayer to have a heart that is pleasing to God, a heart full of enthusiasm of faith.

As you know in April we went to Nepal to do some ministry there. We were going to send out the news about it, but I got very ill for about two weeks, and then we had to settle some other issues.

But here we go:

First of all, thank you for your prayers. It is always a challenge to go on a missions trip as it requires a lot from you, especially in a country that is radically different from what you are used to. This time our trip followed a quite difficult and long lasting trial.

At the camp we did quite a lot of activities but mainly all the Bible teachings and group discussions were directed toward recognizing that we are sinners and recognizing the way sin influences us. We looked for the "antidote" and talked about how not to live in sin, but to walk in the victory of Jesus.

The 32 kids were very involved. We were very blessed by the local team who has been doing such a good job with now 7 orphanages and 120 kids all in all.

We got to spend two evenings with Calvary Chapel Kathmandu. It was a huge blessing as well.

Besides we are thankful for this opportunity to go as it is always refreshing to get away from your land to dedicate time to God. He is faithful and spoke to us.

Please keep this ministry in your prayers. There are still many people that live in bondage of idolatry. These kids are the future of Nepal.

Rehabilitation Center

Along side with pastor Billy Rutledge we visited the rehab and spent a day with the locals. As always it was a sweet time of fellowship and worship. t was a blessing to learn that now one of the ladies is going to move to the city to live and serve at a local church

Upcoming Camps

This summer we plan two big camps: June 26 to July 3 for teens, and then in August for young adults. Please keep these events in prayers. It is always a joy for us to be able to have those camps, but the opposition is great too.

Hard times

The last few months we have been going through a big trial. Thankfully it has come to an end. The Lord is at work healing and restoring us.
We learnt that when the Lord entrusts you with something important he will test, satan will attack.
"God doesn't give the hardest battles to His toughest soldiers, He creates the toughest soldiers through life's hardest battles."
