Have a Green Halloween!
Here are some fa-BOO-lous tips on how to keep it sustainable this Halloween.
Thinking of dressing up this Halloween?
Try making a DIY costume out of your own clothes or thrifted items.

Can Trick or Treat bags be sustainable?!?
Yes, they can!! Try using household items such as pillowcases, buckets, or even an old bag to collect all that delicious candy!

Giving away candy?
Buy bulk candy and pass it out in reusable goodie bags or tins.

Are there other tips to consider this upcoming Sunday?
Trick or Treat by walking around your neighborhood instead of driving to another destination. Reuse old decorations and commit to reusable party accessories.

Need help figuring out what to do with your leftover Halloween supplies (pumpkins, costumes, etc.)?
Use the City of Winter Park's "Think Twice" tool so you can figure out what goes where, so then, you can take the guesswork out of recycling.

What's a good way to support sustainability even after Halloween?
Sign the City of Winter Park's Sustainability Pledge and make a personal commitment to sustainable living by incorporating green practices into your everyday routine.
