Give the gift of art this season

According to the American Alliance of Museums 850 million people visit museums each year. That's more than all major league sporting events and theme parks combined. So, are you friends with one of the 850 million? Are you related to some of them?

This holiday season give the gift of an FDAC Membership at the Sustaining level and receive our new
North American Reciprocal Museum (NARM) benefit. NARM entitles its members at certain levels to enjoy free admission to over 750 institutions across the country as well discounts at museum stores. Whether near or far, your children, parents, or that uncle who is always hard to shop for, your friends will surely enjoy a gift that lasts all year long.

Note: If you would like to give an FDAC membership as a gift this season we would be happy to include a special holiday note with your own personalized message. Be sure to indicate that it is a gift and include your message in the "Additional Notes" when you register online or email fdac@wesleyan.edu. We look forward to helping with your holiday shopping! Please order by December 15th to ensure your gift is received on time. Orders placed after 12/15/15 will not be fulfilled until January 2016.

See the complete list of participating NARM institutions here!

Support the Friends today at the $100 level or above and receive your very own NARM membership cards good for an entire year!

The piece with the most votes and to be purchased by the Friends to add to the collection this year was Iturbide's Mujer Angel. Next month: Learn more about this piece from curator Clare Rogan.

For those who were not able to make it, please let us know if you are interesting in purchasing one of the souvenir CDs from the evening for $15 with American Parlor Music selected by Neely Bruce to accompany the Alsop House along with the Audio Tour produced in 2009 with the assistance of Professor Andrew Szegedy-Maszak, curator Clare Rogan, and FDAC President Mariah Reisner.
