Join the Friends of the Davison Art Center this January 10th for a private tour of "Goya: Order and Disorder" with curator Stephanie Stepanek at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, where a DAC Goya print is featured in the major exhibition. Tour starts promptly at 9:30am.

  NEW 82nd & Fifth Feature 

The Metropolitan Museum of Art launched a new web feature, 82nd & Fifth featuring two-minute videos by curators across the museum
One of the videos featured on 82nd and Fifth is by Wesleyan alum and former curator of the American Wing Morrison Heckscher '62. Watch his feature about The Great Hall.

This summer the Art Library moved to Olin Library. There is now construction in the former Carriage House of the Alsop House, next door to the Davison Art Center. Learn more about the Digital Design Studio.

Photographs by FDAC Board Member and Assistant Professor of Art Sasha Rudensky will be on view at Smith College in Northampton, MA through January 31. 

An artist lecture tonight at 5pm following the gallery opening will discuss a series of photographic projects completed in Russia and Ukraine between 2004 and 2014 that focus on the slow dissolution of Soviet consciousness, the ideological vacuum left in its wake, and the reconstitution of new post-Soviet Ukraine and Russian Identities. The FDAC Board welcomes a new Board member: Rosemary Lennox! Rosemary is currently the docent program coordinator and is excited to join us in 2015.

This winter, for the very first time, the three Wesleyan campus galleries: the Davison Art Center, the Ezra and Cecile Zilkha Gallery, and the College of East Asian Studies will all showcase the work of internationally renowned dancer/choreographer, Eiko Otake.
