Hello art fans!
I want to thank everyone who came to my solo show at The Gallery at PranaYoga in March. It was unreal so see so many people there. I felt so loved, and it meant a great deal that you came. I also want to say hello and thank you to new members of this list, most of whom I met at the Broad Ripple Art Fair in Indianapolis. Thank you for supporting my work!
While I am still waiting on some of my shows to send out acceptance letters, I do have a healthy list of summer festival events confirmed. The current line up is in this email, but please check the 'Events and Shows' page on my website or follow my Facebook Events for the most up to date information.
Bloomington art lovers, I am heading your way next! On June 20th I will be at the Art Fair on the Square. I landed a spot on Kirkwood, a street well traversed by studious IU students, like myself! My booth is #109.
For my Indianapolis crowd, I am confirmed for RAW Indianapolis, on July 23, a one night event held at the Olde National Center. This all-out art event will feature local musicians, fashion designers, make-up artists, visual artists and more! This is a great way to introduce friends and visitors to the local art community. Pre-sale tickets for this event cost $15.00. Click here to purchase tickets. I will give you a 12"x12" limited edition print of 'Bicycle-Bicycle' at the event as a thank you if you buy tickets via this link (please remember to click 'support Alexandra Hall' at checkout)!
Fort Wayne art fans, I will be at the Covington Art Fair & Three Rivers Art in the Park. I am still waiting for jury results for the August 'Taste of the Arts'. Also, if you haven't gotten a chance to read the new Fort Wayne Art & Culture magazine, PIQUE be sure to check it out. I have a piece in their 'Catch-22' section, and I am one of the artists in the Creative Census Campaign championed by Wunderkammer Company. I am very excited about this new Fort Wayne art publication, and hope to continue being involved. As far as gallery shows this season, I will have a large solo show on October 14th at Choice Designs, Inc located on Carroll Road. 15% of any art sold that night will be gifted to a local charity. Please mark your datebooks for the evening of October 14th. My next newsletter will have more details. I also plan to exhibit in Artlink Contemporary Gallery's 'Member Show', and Fort Wayne Artists Guild's 'Ventures in Creativity' at Saint Francis.
I haven't forgotten about you Chicago! I am waiting for the jury results for the Sheffield Music Festival & Garden Walk held in the heart of Lincoln Park. This event is July 18 & 19th. Please check my events page in June to see if I will be exhibiting.
Friends out east, apologies, I will not be coming to the Leesburg Art Festival this year. It just did not fit into my schedule. Hopefully next year I will make it out that way!
I cannot thank you enough for all your support!
All My Best,
Alex
