February is a special month as it is both Black History Month and Chinese New Year. From the Centre for Chinese Studies and the OEC, we wish everyone a Happy Chinese New Year! We wish you good health, happiness, and success in the coming Year of the Ox!
In honour of Black History Month, we would like to take a moment to celebrate the cultural diversity and inclusion on our campus, and encourage the CUE community to always keep learning, growing, and discovering. The Concordia Black Students Association are hosting a series of events including a panel discussion, on February 19, with four of our esteemed and influential CUE professors. In their discussion, they will address some of the unique experiences of the Black community in academia. Information for this and other events can be found on their Instagram page: @cue_bsa.
