All Things New!

“Behold, I am doing a new thing;
now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?” Isaiah 43:19a

There is great excitement in the air throughout the campuses of Teen Challenge New England & New Jersey.  Indeed, all things are new, as we experience God’s favor everywhere we look. We are excited to continue the ministry; reaching addicts and their families one at a time and watching God transform their lives! Below is a list of some of the “new things” that God has done.

  • The donation of 88 acres and 22 buildings to our New Jersey campus in Lebanon. We are busy remodeling the buildings to suit Teen Challenge’s needs. With the increased bed space, we will be able to serve 100 men who want to be free from addiction.
  • The opening of our first transition home, River’s Edge, in New Haven, Connecticut for graduates of the Teen Challenge program. River’s Edge is designed to provide structure, accountability, spiritual mentoring with others in the process of rebuilding their lives.
  • The donation of a 32,000 sq. ft. building in Nashua, New Hampshire to be used for outreach to the community and the establishment of a furniture thrift store to benefit our students being trained in business sales and to support Teen Challenge New Hampshire.
  • Teen Challenge Brockton is no longer in the carwash business but has found other avenues that provide job training and preparation for the student’s re-entry into society. Some of these avenues are: restoring/repurposing furniture, computer repair, and office skills. Tradesmen skills are taught through Starman Construction a division of Teen Challenge.
  • Teen Challenge NE & NJ held its first Leadership Management conference in January 2015 which included 22 workshops and 4 general sessions designed to equip and train our 100+ leaders.
We praise God and give Him all the glory for everything that has taken place in
Teen Challenge New England & New Jersey.
Thank you for your support, prayers, and continued partnership.
