A few weeks ago Lindsey and I took a short trip to Honduras to see first hand all the developments that had been going on over the last two years and get refocused on what God has in store for us in just a few short months. And what a blessed trip it was! We got to walk the 35 acre farm in Siguatepeque where we will be doing our part to help build the kingdom of God. We got to visit the language school where we will spend the next year learning Spanish as a family. We spent time in fellowship with our team mates, and were blessed enough to be part of the very first team outreach helping out with a medical clinics in the squatter village. We even got to take a trip to the orphanage to see the aquaponics system that we helped to establish so many years ago. We were so happy to see the kids getting involved and keeping everything running. The whole trip was a much needed boost as we make our final preparations into the field of service. Our only regret was that the kids were unable to go with us. Soon enough children...soon enough!
