SHIMANO TIAGRA REELS
img
Do you own a Shimano Tiagra fishing reel manufactured pre 2015?

Shimano reports there have been a small number of isolated instances where the ratchet plate screws may work loose on some Tiagra fishing reels manufactured prior to 2015. We will have a Shimano technician in store in a few weeks time performing free precautionary inspections and repairs to ensure peace of mind to customers and Shimano that your reel is not affected or if it is, will be repaired.

You can identify the year of manufacture by the first letter of the 2 letters stamped on the reel foot. The letter “N” indicates 2015. If the first letter is earlier than a “N”, then could you please drop your reel (removed from the rod) into Tackle World Cranbourne prior to Sunday 11th October and your reel will be inspected and ready for you to pick up during the following week.

Please give the shop a call on 5996 6500 if you need any assistance identifying if your reel requires inspection.
