Jordan Robinson launched out of Sorrento during the week and got amongst the kings at the rip. It seems that there are plenty of numbers throughout the rip of late, and if you can find a break in the weather, you are as good a chance as any. Jordan says the Dogtooth skirted jigs did the job.

BASS STRAIT
img
Will Sheridan and a few cricketing mates hit Bass Strait this week. The boys headed out into Bass Strait and found some very nice kingies between 100cm and 82cm using live baits.

PORTLAND

Its kingfish galore at the moment inside the Portland harbour. What these fish lack in size, they certainly make up for it in numbers. Fishing by boat has been the most successful way to target kingy’s inside the harbour, but plenty of land based guys have been getting amongst the fishing from the break wall.
WESTERN PORT
