The boys had some insane bluefin action with one outing providing 35 fish in a crazy 4 hour session! Fish were free swimming around the boat ranging from 35 to 75kg and they were even able to hand feed them at one stage! Insane fishing fellas, keep up the good work!
img
Hiep, Bryan, Mick and Phat had an awesome weekend on the large bluefin front out from Narooma! The boys managed these 2 fish that were not weighed but measured 1.6 and 1.8m respectively. Cracking fish boys, well done!
img

A pro boat by the name of “Muff Diver” landed this cracking bluefin of 180kg!! We have little information on this capture but what an awesome fish!

img
The boys from Head Hunter Charters had a couple of divers jump aboard in search of the big bluefin on spear and they definitely delivered the goods. Two fish were speared and the other caught by the more conventional method! Awesome stuff guys!

img
John, Peter and young Isaac had a terrific day at Port Fairy in lovely conditions over the weekend and they weren’t disappointed with a good feed of bluefin tuna. The boys were trolling hard body and skirted lures, the X-rap 20 in red bait colour was the stand out. Plenty of fish are still close but the bulk seems to be kicking around Julia Percy Island.

Fresh yakka and salmon are proving their weight in gold in the bait department.
WESTERN ENTRANCE
img
Some ripper gummies have been prevalent in the southern regions of Western Port and Pat Ellaby took the cake with this lovely 10kg fish caught in the Western Entrance over the weekend. This cracking model was one of three for Pat. Well done mate!
