PAUL’S FISHING

Three Swords in a Day !

We’re pretty sure no Australian Angler has ever caught three in a day, let alone Satellite tag them but on Tuesday Paul had one of the best days he has ever experienced in all the years of filming IFISH TV, with 3 broadbill swordfish boatside. The first fish came after 5 minutes of the first bait being dropped and after a 40 minute fight, she was satellite tagged and swam off strongly! The second fish of similar size was again on in 5 minutes of the bait hitting the bottom. The third fish…well this was a different story…..an absolute mammoth estimated at over 270kg! This fish put on an epic display, giving the Talica 50 a definite workout and after a 3 hour fight, the crew were able to satellite tag her and she swam off with no worries in the world! Paul would love to thank Jamie Harris and scientist, Sean Tracey for all their hard work over the past week, it definitely paid off!

Congratulations Paul!
