We are often told not to eat too much fruit, because it is high in sugar. Just what is the story? And what about 100% fruit juice? Learn how fruit affects our body here.
 

Caramel Apple Slices
 
This healthy version of caramel apples is delicious! Las Vegas local Ashley Diana created this recipe and we made them a few years ago during our Prevent & Reverse Disease classes. Other than chopped nuts and cacao nibs, you can also roll them in unsweetened coconut shreds, dried goji berries, or some combination. I especially love a cacao nib coating, which, sweetened by the sweet potato and dates adds the rich taste of chocolate.
