PARISH NEWS
The SECOND SUNDAY after THE EPIPHANY:
The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Sunday

THIS SUNDAY

TODAY WE HONOR the life and mission of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., assasinated in 1968. As a minister, Dr. King preached Christian values and love for all God’s children; as a civil rights leader he advocated nonviolence in protests against injustice. His leadership helped raise the consciousness of our nation against racism and intolerance.
