Program Updates
As part of its commitment to pioneering a data-driven culture in Colorado's social sector, the Data Initiative recently convened metro Denver's data community for the first annual Mile High Data Day, which provided an opportunity to build relationships, share best practices, learn from experts and strengthen partnerships between social change and data organizations. Learn more.
The Data Initiative has been working with a stakeholder group of foundation, government, provider and advocacy leaders on the concept of an early care and education mapping tool inspired by the William Penn Foundation's Child Care Map of Philadelphia. We are contracting Open Media Foundation to create a customized metro Denver-market version, and they are actively developing the tool throughout the summer.
