UAC Honors Community Leaders at 46th Anniversary Breakfast 
Philadelphia's Premier Networking Event this Friday, November 20th at the PA Convention Center
Each year UAC honors three community leaders who have gone above and beyond to embody our goal of “driving change from the ground up.” On Friday, November, 20, we will celebrate their accomplishments at our 46th Anniversary Breakfast at the PA Convention Center from 7:45 a.m. to 9:30 a.m
Honored this year are Dr. Amy GutmannTrudy Haynes, and Steven Scott Bradley. These change-makers have dedicated their time and talent to improving the lives of Philadelphians of every background. Currently President of the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Gutmann will receive the Doer Award for her leadership and commitment to her city, region and community. Trudy Haynes, an Emmy™ Award-winning broadcaster, trailblazer and community activist will receive the Living Legacy Award. The Community Leadership Award will be presented to the President and CEO of Bradley & Bradley Associates and Chairman of the African American Chamber of Commerce of PA, NJ and DE, Steve Bradley who connects community and business to improve the economic health of our city and region.

Leading the Conversation Among the Nations Top Fiscal Sponsors 

On November 6th, UAC’s management team joined peer organizations at the National Network of Fiscal Sponsors Annual Meeting in New York City. This was an opportunity to share best practices and discuss the future of the nonprofit sector. The conference featured remarks from UAC's President and CEO Sharmain Matlock-Turner, Vice President and Chief External Affairs Officer Arun Prabhakaran, and Human Resources Director Sandra Higginbotham-Briddell. UAC is proud to be a leader in the fiscal sponsorship sector, providing back office and nonprofit business services to organizations to help them grow while saving them time and money.
