Creating artwork from the soul

Jagdeep Sahans is carrying on a family tradition in calligraphy. Based in New Ross, her business, Soul Scribe, provides soulfully creative calligraphy from bespoke artwork to gifts, slatework, or a beautifully handwritten wedding invitation suite of stationery.

A mindful practice

“Calligraphy is quite a Zen practice, said Jagdeep, who learned the craft watching her father inscribe invitations and envelopes in a flowing cursive script...when you slow down as you write, your writing makes more sense of your thoughts"

Advice to female entrepreneurs:
Do your market research. Find your market. Talk to the right people and not the crowd...You may have a different named client in mind for different products and different marketing platforms.
