Now that life is starting to return to normal, we have decided to relaunch the monthly eNews to keep you up-to-date with news and events in and around Bishop's Waltham.

GIVE & TAKE: Toys, Games, Books and Clothes for Under 11s
TODAY: Saturday 31st July, 12 - 4 pm
People will not have to give to be able to take. You can give, you can take or you can give and take, whichever works for you. The whole idea is to repurpose unwanted items and pass them on to people who can use them, rather than ending up in landfill. Next event: Saturday 28th August: Small Household Items & Entertainment
Family Countryside Trail
Running throughout August
Collect a trail sheet from the porch of St Peter's Church from 1st August and follow the signs across local fields and lanes to find a word. Prizes to be won!
The Big Tea
Sunday 15th August 3-6pm
Raising funds for South Central Ambulance Charity and celebrating the NHS, The Big Tea is a chance for the community to come together and enjoy live music, entertainment, tea and cake in the High Street.  There will be juice for children and the first 500 people get a free slice of cake and a drink (juice or a cuppa)! We look forward to seeing you there!
Thursday Art Group Restarts - Parish Hall, Free Street
Cost £15 per quarter (approx 6 - 7 sessions).

Summer Holiday Swimming
Bishop's Waltham Junior School 2nd-6th August
The pool is open daily at 10.30am and 11.30am for a family fun swim - no booking required, but numbers are limited.  Tuesday and Thursday 11.30am session is for lane swimming only (any age group) Find out more at http://bwcommunityswimming.org.uk
Bishop's Waltham Men's Shed
Mondays 10am
A friendly group of men who meet for a chat and make use of their collective skills to support local groups and organisations (wood working, gardening, repairs etc.).  If you would like more information do phone Helen/Bob on 01489 893498 or email helen.mensshed@btinternet.com
Conservation in Action Day at the Palace
Friday 6th August 11am-4pm
There will be hands-on activities for everyone, stone masonry demonstrations, and people can learn about what goes into conserving this incredible site! There will also be tours of the Palace ruins. The museum will be open with extra activities outside for the whole family. All FREE! Just come along.
