There's so much going on between now and mid-March.  As always, we have only been able to include a handful of events.  Keep an eye on our Facebook Page and website for more events and information.

Saturday 19th – Friday 25th February: Where’s Henry Trail for Primary School Age Children

Hidden somewhere in shop windows around the town will be 20 different models of Henry VIII. Your challenge is to find them all and answer a quiz question at each location!

Pick up a trail leaflet from various places in the High Street (keep an eye out on our Bishop’s Waltham Facebook Page and posters around town to find out where).

Every completed trail leaflet will receive a special Trail Token and have the chance to be entered into a prize draw for free tickets to the July 2nd/3rd Tudor Experience.

Saturday 26th February
10-11.30am
High Street

Join us in the High Street between 10.00am and 11.30am to watch Henry VIII and his entourage tour the town accompanied by Tudor music. Henry will draw the lucky winners from the prize draw (above) in St Georges Square at 11.30am.

The Meeting Room
The United Free Church, Basingwell Street Mondays 2pm - 4pm
£2 including tea/coffee.


If you knit, crochet, embroider or do any craft involving a needle you will be warmly welcomed.

Bishop's Waltham Clean Up Event
Saturday 26th March
Meet 10am - outside the Jubilee Hall

The Parish Council will be holding their Clean Up event on the morning of Saturday 26th March. All volunteers welcome! Come and join in this spring clean, as we litter pick along some of our main footpaths and pavements to help keep our town looking lovely. Meet outside the front of the Jubilee Hall at 10am. Bring some gloves and a mobile phone, everything else is provided.

The Society’s junior section meets on the first Thursday of the month . The focus of their meetings will be on gaining practical skills that may be applied to numerous situations with the emphasis very much on having fun.

QUIZ NIGHT

Jubilee Hall

Tickets £10 per person in advance, includes ploughman's supper.
Six people per team - teams can be made up on the evening.
Please bring your own drinks and drinking vessels.
Raffle and music interlude.
