The Skwaabeywis Seed Grant will fund young people, aged 16 - 29, who are:
[shqua-bae-wiss] Ojibwe origin (n): Flame-Keeper, Helper
- Artists engaged in community arts
- Artists working for social change
- Individuals living & working on the margins
One who tends the sacred fire, allowing others access to medicines, healing and deeper connection.
In keeping with our philosophy that we have a collective responsibility to foster and model a culture of peace, and that youth are the instigators of social change, we are excited to announce the launch of our Skwaabeywis Seed Grant Program, which will provide up to $1500 in micro-grants to various youth-led projects.
