French Ministry of Health kicks off Joint Action on Antimicrobial Resistance

European Commission, 13th September

On September 13th  the kick-off meeting of the Joint Action took place on antimicrobial resistance and healthcare-associated infections (EU-JAMRAI) in Paris. It's main goal was to determine Europe's wide policies and a joint programme to fight AMR. With a 4 million Euros budget dedicated to support member states with the implementation of national AMR action plans, one can expect progress on this matter in the near future.
