On April 13th, more than 650 people gathered at the Greater Tacoma Convention Center to celebrate Tacoma Community House's 108-year legacy as a Welcoming Home. Thanks to our guests' and sponsors' generosity and willingness to — as Rep. Laurie Jinkins said — "live their values," we raised an astounding $130,000 for our Education, Employment, Immigration, and Advocacy programs!
Thank you to all who attended the luncheon, made a contribution, sponsored the event, and shared fun photos with the hashtag #TCHLunch. We are also incredibly grateful to the speakers who took time out of their busy lives to share their powerful immigration journeys with us.
We hope you will carry our message with you as you continue to make the South Sound a more welcoming region for our immigrant and refugee neighbors! Thank you!
