Immigrants are anxious, but supporters are stepping up

  • City of Tacoma: On January 31st, Mayor Strickland and the Tacoma City Council unanimously voted to adopt Resolution Number 39642 to establish an Immigration and Refugee Task Force. (Read More)
  • Nationally: On February 9th, a federal appeals court voted to maintain the freeze on the President's travel ban on seven Muslim-majority countries, meaning refugees and immigrants from those countries can continue coming to the U.S. (Read More)
