Do you have a song that helps to ground you?

I have one and when it comes across the radio I sing along very loudly. It is "You Say" by Lauren Daigle. Have you heard it? (click here to go to the office youtube version)

That opening verse describes ms:
I keep fighting voices in my mind that say I'm not enough
Every single lie that tells me I will never measure up
Am I more than just the sum of every high and every low?
Remind me once again just who I am, because I need to know,

Am I worthy?  In Ephesians 2:20 God tells me I am Masterpiece!
A masterpiece?  Me?
Yes, that is exactly what God says.

Years ago I watched a video presentation by Gary Smalley.  In it he talked about and passed around an expensive Stradivarius violin. People held it tenderly, carefully, acknowledging the value of that item.  He then talked about how we need to treat ourselves and each other as valuable as that instrument.

I don't have a violin, but I do have crown which I keep on my desk to remind me, I Am Valuable!!

As a knitter, I use a yarn project to remind of that as well. (see the post here)

YOU are a valuable masterpiece created by God.  How do you remind yourself of that truth?

As a life coach, I help women defeat the lies of negative self-talk so that they may discover the unseen possibilities within themselves allowing them to step onto new paths and proceed toward their ultimate goals and dreams.
