Are you up to the Challenge?

GPSEN joins 657 teams and over 7,750 participants around the world this month for NWEI's October EcoChallenge.  From energy, water, and health to community, nature, and simplicity, take measurable action on sustainability solutions to create widespread, transformative change.  It would be great to have you on our GPSEN EcoChallenge team.  Will you join us? 

Also, happy Campus Sustainability Month!  The international celebration of sustainability in higher education inspires campuses around the world to make a difference.  Many of us are off to Pittsburgh, PA (a revitalizing city) for the AASHE Conference.  We will share new lessons asap!

FREE Attracting Pollinators to the Urban Garden Workshop

In this free workshop you will learn about the different kinds of pollinators that might be living in your garden, such as flies, beetles, moths, butterflies, and honey bees (of course!). Job: Bark Executive Director

The Executive Director (ED) is a full-time (40 hrs/wk) position responsible for managing and supporting staff, ensuring Bark has the resources needed to strategically fulfill our mission, including  maintaining meaningful and thoughtful relationships with large funders and supporters. They are also responsible for guiding strategic direction to achieve the goals identified in Bark’s 20-Year Vision.  The Executive Director is responsible for ensuring Bark follows through on our commitment to leading our strategy and development with a focus of racial justice and anti-oppression action.

Oregon Food Bank is excited to announce that we will be launching the FEAST Support Fund for the third year in a row. FEAST (Food, Education, Agriculture, Solutions Together) is a community conversation about food that leads to local action. It’s a convening of community members to share their personal food experiences and come up with ideas for shared action to build community food security. NOAA Climate Stewards Book Club
