SoHE spotlight: One new grad's story

Recent graduate Kelly McCamley (BS, 2015) has had an amazing academic career at SoHE and UW-Madison, but before she moves on to a new professional life at Kohl's Corporation, she's staying in Madison a little longer to teach a summer retailing course to PEOPLE Program middle schoolers. Read more about  Kelly's experiences on the UW-Madison campus and how they've prepared her for the "real world" of retailing.

Attend the Career Ecology event

We’re looking for alumni to work one-on-one with current SoHE students at our first Career Ecology event, Wednesday, Sept. 30, 5:30-7:30 pm. Sign up and learn more about how you can share your experiences and collaborate with students to answer the question "What is a human ecologist?" It's a great chance to meet other alums and help students polish  leadership and communications skills.

A big 'thank you' to our student donors!

Over 35% of our graduating seniors pledged their support to UW-Madison and the future of SoHE during 2015's Look Forward, the campus-wide student philanthropy campaign that brought together a collective senior class gift. Students designated their personal pledges and gifts depending on their interests. Thanks to all of them for their SoHE support and congratulations to all of our new alumni.

Alumni award nominations open

Nominate a fellow alum for the 2015 Human Ecology Alumni Awards. Last year’s winners include a Target product designer, a health food entrepreneur, and an assistant professor improving the school experience for Native American students. Tell us about SoHE grads you know who are doing great things to make the world a better place, from designers and retail executives to teachers and non-profit leaders.
