Have an idea to improve your community? Share it!

Participatory Budgeting is a democratic process designed to engage the community in the budget process. YOU share and propose your project ideas, YOU talk to your neighbors about your community needs, and YOU vote on which projects should receive $200,000 in public funds.

With D1 Decides, you can work and engage with the government to see changes that impact your life. If you have an idea that would improve your community, submit your proposal online or in person at the following locations:

West Valley Branch Library
1243 San Tomas Aquino Road, San José, CA 95117

Calabazas Branch Library
1230 S. Blaney Avenue, San José, CA 95129

Cypress Community and Senior Center
403 Cypress Avenue, San José, CA 95117

*Ask a staff member at any of these locations for the hard copy submission forms

Deadline to submit ideas is Sunday, April 15th, 11:59 p.m. PST.

Join in on the process that builds community and connectedness within San José. To learn more, share your ideas, or see what your neighbors have already proposed, visit www.d1decides.com.
