Now is the time for revival. During times of revival we experience an intensification and acceleration of the love of God that changes the trajectory of our lives. In Exodus 33, Moses was not content with just the presence of God returning to the tent of meeting, he wanted more. This is the heart of revival that is connected to the Father's love because God is willing to do what we are asking for.
We can learn a lot from revival history. There was a man named Father Nash. He never wrote a book, and few writings exist about him today. However, Father Nash's prayers were instrumental to America experiencing the Second Great Awakening. The prayer life of this man was a force to be reckoned with. He was the personal intercessor for Charles Finney, and their revival meetings reached over 500,000 people, with the fruit of the revival spanning from the days of D.L. Moody to Billy Graham. Before Father Nash died he wrote: "I have only just begun to understand what Jesus meant when he said, "All things whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive." This Saturday we are expecting to stir our faith and experience the ministry of the Holy Spirit!
Come expectant as we exalt the Lord in worship, and wait upon the Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation to undergird us in discerning the new wine skin of this era!
Colossians 1:5-6 “…because we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love you have for all the saints—the faith and love that spring from the hope that is stored up for you in heaven and that you have already heard about in the word of truth, the gospel that has come to you. All over the world this gospel is producing fruit and growing….”
Since going to Scotland there has been an increase in the call to shift the nations to the voice of our Father and His righteousness. The testimony of those in Scotland is akin to the above verses. This is the call of this house, and so let us respond in this kind of faith and give our resources into the advancement of the kingdom through this house!
Thank you for sowing extravagantly into the work of building His kingdom both here and in the nations!
Let’s Abide, Be Fruitful and Generous As We Advance the Kingdom!
