It's Mark Psensky at Golf Club of Illinois.
There's been a lot going on this winter, we've been working on providing you with more programs.
I'm pleased to announce that I have reached an agreement with Tee2Green in Huntley to provide lessons indoors during the off season.
The facility has 5 indoor hitting bays approximately 50 feet long, a putting green, chipping area and bunker for sand play.
They also have 5 simulators for those of you who like to play virtual golf.
The price for lessons remains the same Adults $45/Half Hour, $85/Hour Juniors $40/Half Hour $75/Hour and includes video analysis uploaded to the website Visit MPSGOLF
I am absorbing the cost of the facility use fee unless you want to work on the simulator which is an additional $36/Hour.
Also, at Golf Club of Illinois, we have now added a Family Course with 2 sets of tees
rated by the Chicago District Golf Association (C.D.G.A.)and recognized by US Kids Golf as a Family center
The 1st set is 3130 yards (course rating 56.6 slope 93) the 2nd set of tees is 4272 yards (course rating 61.8 slope 106)
The Family Course Program allows family members to play golf from appropriate yardages which builds confidence, enjoyment and the ability to maintain pace of play.
For the Junior Golfers, The schedule for the upcoming year is now posted on MPSGOLF Book A Lesson
There's been a few additions to the schedule,
We are offering a class room clinic in March for 4 weeks to help the beginning juniors learn more about how the game is played, etiquette, and basic information to make the game more enjoyable.
We will be hosting a P.G.A. Junior League Travel Team for the 7-13 year olds (starting in June, exact dates TBD) We are planning on having a meeting for this league Wednesday, March 30th at 6:30 P.M.
We are also in the process of forming a Junior League for 12-17 year olds which will be a team format similar to matches in high school.
This league will be held at Golf Club of Illinois starting on June 6th thru July 25th (July 4th we are off) with a Junior Club Championship scheduled for August 1st. T-Times for the matches start at 7:30 A.M.
Players will be flighted by handicap and teams formed by a blind draw. We are reaching out to the area high schools to provide team members an alternative to playing in 1 day tournaments.
This should provide for some interesting matches, your team mate in school may be playing against you, and your opponents in school may very well be your team mate in the League.
We are planning on having a meeting for this League on Wednesday April 6th at 6:30 P.M.
