"Love Offering for the Staff"

This is an opportunity for the Church congregation and members to  show our appreciation for all that our Pastors & paid staff do all year long to run the church and bring us the joy of God's spoken word.  You can donate by  making monetary donations in the pew envelopes and labeling them “Love Offering” and placing them in the offering plate.

Thank you to Dennis Johnson, Joyce Weaver and Nancy Graybeal for assisting our regular volunteer, Nancy Shenk in putting the bulletins together each week!  Your help is appreciated.

What is the Jane Addams Fund?
Wisdom's Table is a diverse congregation in many ways and one of those is socio-economic. We have seen and increasing amount of need among our members and friends who live on the economic edge. We believe that as a congregation that is focused on Social and Environmental Justice, we should respond to those among us who are facing financial need in part because of social justice issues. As such we are collecting funds on a quarterly basis that will be disbursed to those members and friends in need.

As a member or Friend of Wisdom's Table you are eligible to apply for the Jane Addams Fund.
Applications for funds are available in the bin above the mailboxes outside the office or from a pastor. Please return the completed application to Parish Administrator, Pam Kilgore's mailbox or to a pastor. The Professional Leadership Team (Pastor Anabel, Pastor Lance, and Pam)  will review and make decisions about each application received based on need and funds available.
Are you looking for a place to have more discussions about your faith journey?  The Wisdom's Table Book Group, meet at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday's at Panera Bread on Rohrerstown Road.

The group started a new book on October 17th.  The book is "Waking up White"...and finding myself in the story of race by Debby Irving.
All are welcome to attend this lively discussion.

Anthony Young, a 7 year-old "Friend of Wisdom's Table" who has been attending church with his Grandma (Amy McLane), would like to do a ministry service project for US servicemen and women this year who will be away from their loved ones over Christmas and he is enlisting your help!

Please bring Christmas cards that you have signed inside with your name -- and please include words of appreciation and encouragement. (Feel free to include a photo of yourself if you'd like, but that is optional).
Anthony's 2nd grade class at Denver Elementary in the Cocalico School District will be making cards also,  to help him to gather as many as possible.
We will have a basket placed by the church entrance for you to place your cards and Anthony and Amy will be mailing them out the week of Dec 10th.  Please bring your cards to the church by Sun, Dec 9th (which will be the last day).
Thank you so much!
