Public Administration Division
The Kentucky Department for Local Governments (DLG) will be hosting two SPGE training sessions on the financial disclosure section of 2013 HB1 for all Special Purpose Government Entities in the KIPDA area on June 12 and 16. The sessions will be held at KIPDA and will last approximately 90 minutes. Individuals can attend a session at either 2:00 PM or 6:00 PM. For more information read here.
The Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development's Build-Ready Program offers local communities in the Commonwealth an additional opportunity to attract industrial development in your areas.  For more information read here

Consumer Direction Program (CDO)
The KIPDA Consumer Direction Program (CDO) continues to grow and have a big impact on individuals and families within our region. Currently the program consists of 14 support brokers, an intake and eligibility coordinator, a Registered Nurse (RN), two support staff, and a supervisor. For more information read here.
Your KIPDA kynectors have worked hard to reach out to the members of our community in helping them navigate through the computer application process and make it one step closer in receiving healthcare. They will continue to provide assistance to our region. For more information read here.
KIPDA Grandparents Raising Grandchildren 2104 Spring Conference
The 7th annual KIPDA Grandparents Raising Grandchildren 2014 Spring Conference will be held Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at the Hilton Garden Inn Louisville Airport. The conference will feature keynote speaker James-Etta Goodloe, a Shelbyville native, who will speak about her experience being raised by her great-grandparents. For more information read here.

Big Four Bridge Opens in Indiana
After much anticipation, the Big Four Bridge has opened on the Indiana side. Pedestrians had been enjoying walking across from the Kentucky side for months but can now enjoy it from the other side of the Ohio River. For more information

Ticket to Ride is excited to announce their acquisition of 10 new passenger vans. They were able to acquire 5-12 passenger and 5-15 passenger vans. These new vans will help Ticket to Ride to continue to provide their award winning service to the member or community!
