May 5 - National Children's Mental Health Awareness Day   

The “Finding Help, Finding Hope” event will explore how communities can increase access to behavioral health services and supports for children, youth, and young adults who experience mental or substance use disorders and their families. May 17 - NAMI CA Youth Advocacy Day & Social Media Contest 

Take part in the day from anywhere in the state by posting about your local advocacy efforts on social media with the hashtag #NAMICAYouthVoices and be entered to win an EMM prize package. Learn more...

May 20 - Directing Change Film Screening & Award Ceremony

May 24 - Mental Health Matters Day 

Mark your calendars for Tues., May 24 as hundreds of people will gather in Sacramento on the West Steps of the Capitol building for Mental Health Matters Day 2016: Awareness. Action. Change. Organized by Mental Health America of California and many partners, the event will feature speakers, entertainment and food.
