Dear People of God,
As some of you may know, Bishop Charles Jenkins (who served as 3rd Rector of St. Luke's before becoming the 10th Bishop of Louisiana) has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He recently entered palliative care. As you can see from Bishop Thompson's message below, Bishop Jenkins and his family are asking for your prayers. Notes can also be mailed to the address included in Bishop Thompson's message.
Please keep Bishop Jenkins, his wife Louise, and his sons Benjamin and Edward in your prayers during this difficult time.
Faithfully yours,
Fr. Bryan
6th Rector

Dear Friends,
As you know, several months ago the Rt. Rev. Charles Jenkins, Resigned, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. The road he has traveled has been hard. In a recent phone call, Bishop Jenkins asked me to write to the Diocese and request your prayers. Bishop Jenkins is in palliative care at his home and is not seeking visitors as he tires easily. I am simply asking you to remember Charles, his wife Louise and his two sons, Benjamin and Edward in prayers.
If you would like to write him a note, his mailing address is:
P.O. Box 3000
St. Francisville, LA. 70775
May God grant Charles strength to meet the days ahead.
Faithfully, |

The Rt. Rev. Morris K. Thompson, Jr.
Bishop of Louisiana
