VOL 004

Tomorrow is February

It's hard to believe that January is nearly over. Before you know it, we'll be in shorts and sandals. Until then, we'll just have to keep hoping this mild winter continues. Either way, thanks for subscribing to and reading my newsletter.

In this, the fourth edition of Mike's Weekly Three, you'll find a way to connect your curriculum to the Netflix craze Making and Murderer, coaches of student athletes will enjoy a great read about multi-sport athletes, and I ask you to fill out a one question survey.

If you haven't yet, please subscribe and listen to my weekly podcast The Progress Report on any of the following services:

This week, Brian and I discuss instructional approaches to using Twitter in the classroom!

Why College Coaches Prefer Multi-Sport Athletes

If you're like me, Netflix sucked you in to the true-crime drama Making a Murderer. Your students probably watched this too. Hop on the bandwagon in your class by examining the design of attorney Ken Kratz's actual website with this Medium article by Sean Yang: Making a Murderer: 7 Hilarious Things Wrong with Ken Kratz’s Website
This week, on The Progress Report, brian and I discussed instructional approaches to using Twitter in the classroom. We started a list of business professionals that students should be following. We know we've left some people out. Please  complete this one question survey to let us know who we should add:
