The AAU has also been involved in quite a number of activities over the past weeks. Together with our partners, we organised a stakeholders meeting of the MasterCard-Funded Pilot Project on the Demography of African Faculty and a training on working collaboratively and communicating with the private sector for 15 Science Granting Councils from 15 countries in Africa. AAU also facilitated capacity building for the higher education community on a number of topical issues including Resource Mobilisation, Good Practices in Quality Assurance and Management of Institutional Repositories. We further participated in the meeting of experts for the Pan African virtual and E-University  and a forum for Reinventing Technical and Vocational Education.
